Pyar&Co. table linens giveaway.

want to know a secret? we eat dinner, most nights, on the couch. it's comfy, it's where i want to be after working all day, and it also means almost never having to set a fancy table. i'm totally okay with that. but there are those occasions when i want to get a bit fancy, and sometimes i  just feel like preparing a small surprise on the weekend.

I received a set of Pyar&Co. table linens to show how i would use them. Besides dinner parties (which usually take place outside this time of year), we never use the dining table. So I thought they would be perfect to fancy up the bar area in our kitchen. 98% of the time, this is where we, or friends end up sitting during parties, so there's really no reason it shouldn't look good. I loved the natural look of the Bijli collection mixed with a pop of glam in the print.

Playing off of the fun metallic starburst pattern, I added in quirky plates, lots of natural elements potted in black pots and then spotted the rest of the setting with touches of black accessories (chalkboard signs available here).

I'm also a sucker for anything in miniature form. And i'm also ALWAYS grabbing things that are mini at the store or while i'm shopping. It's a strange addiction. How fun would it be to start wrapping up those mini treats though?! While you are hosting a dinner party, or maybe just a surprise dinner for your man on a Friday night? Recent faves have been voluspa candles and maldon sea salt that sharon introduced me to!

Do you guys use your dining table a lot, or would these linens be better off in another area of your home like your outdoor dining set? Well.. now's your chance to win your own set and see! Enter below to win a set of four placemats and napkins of your choice! To enter, just visit Pyar&Co. and pick out your favorite set (the bijli or the varsha) come back here telling me which set you love and where you would use them. good luck!

  2. I love the biji set! With one corner of our dining room currently filled with wedding celebration decor boxes, I cannot wait to clear them out mid-June and have a true dining room fit for entertaining--especially with the gorgeous Pyar & Co. goodies!

  5. These are beautiful! I just love the Varsha set - my husband and I usually eat dinner on the couch nearly every night as well, though Sundays are reserved for the dining room table with real napkins, like this ;)

  22. I love the Bijli set! My boyfriend has a beautiful roof deck- our precious outdoor space (we live in NYC), and have just started hosting brunches for our friends on the weekends. We love being outside and trying out new recipes! I would use them to set our places for our roof deck brunches; the Bijli linens would catch the light beautifully!

I love the Bijli pattern...I'm into mixing opposites: vintage and modern, abstract and still life, and in this case, I love the linen with metallic look. Mostly I love how you've pulled it all together with the animal plates and black accessories. Black is such a wonderful color...so good to tie things together!
